Since we opened our doors in Chancery Lane in 2013, Luce e Limoni has steadily earned its place among the top central London Italian restaurants.
Our journey began with a simple yet ambitious goal: to share the warmth, richness and authenticity of Sicilian and Italian cuisine with Londoners and the city’s visitors. This vision stems from the lifelong passion of our proprietor and head chef, Fabrizio Zafarana, whose love affair with food began at just 13 years old in a professional kitchen in Sicily.
After honing his skills in Italy, Fabrizio arrived in England in 1983 with a dream of bringing the flavours of his homeland to the capital. Ten years of experience in London’s kitchens laid the foundation for his first restaurant, which he opened in 1996. Then, in 2013, Luce e Limoni was born, a restaurant deeply rooted in Sicilian tradition but proudly established in the heart of the UK’s capital.
What sets us apart is our unwavering commitment to quality and authenticity. Inspired by Fabrizio’s Mediterranean heritage, we use only the finest organic and locally sourced ingredients to produce our popular dishes. Everything from our pasta to our bread is made in-house by our dedicated team, using top-grade ingredients and traditional techniques that honour our Sicilian roots.
Guests often begin their dining experience with our freshly baked bread served with Sicilian extra virgin olive oil, followed by starters that showcase the vibrant flavours of the island.
